Busch Gardens, one of North America's largest amusement parks and zoos, has day camps for kids from pre-kindergarten through seventh grade, plus weekend and resident camps for grades four through adult. The camps emphasize the animal aspect of Busch Gardens, with hands-on encounters and conservation activities. Day camp fees start at $115. Season pass holders get a $15 discount. Camps take place June 2-July 25.
This program is designed specifically for youth, ages 10-18 with prior performing experience. Participants receive extensive instruction in theater, dance, and music, taught by industry professional directors, choreographers and voice coaches. The program will present the Broadway productions of Gypsy and Annie which will be open to the public.

CITY OF TAMPA CAMPS, The Tampa Parks and Recreation Department offers children, ages 5-17 years old, a more traditional full-day summer program at 32 sites located throughout the city. Each week is filled with exciting activities that coordinate with a fun and entertaining theme. The cost is $70 per child.

ST. PETERSBURG
CITY OF ST. PETERSBURG CAMPS St. Petersburg offers several Playcamps for kids entering grades 1-8, and Teencamps for grades 7-9. The 10-week sessions cost $440 for Playcamp, $470 for Teencamp. ST. PETERSBURG YMCA CAMP The St. Petersburg Family YMCA arranges camps from May 24 through July 31. Camps are open to the public for ages 4-17. Two camps for middle school students make island exploration and history fun. Exploring the Past, June 20-24, introduces kids (entering grades 6-9) to archaeology at this historic site through field work, island exploration, canoeing and pottery-making with a little spear-throwing contest tossed in. Cost is $125 for the weeklong day camp. A three day Island Explorers camp (for students entering grades 6-8) features hiking, canoeing and wading as students learn about the estuary and wildlife. Cost is $75. Offered June 14-16 and July 5-7.
CLEARWATER / PALM HARBOR
CITY OF CLEARWATER CAMPS The City of Clearwater Recreation Department offers a variety of camps for students throughout the summer. Camps focus on sports, arts, theater, music and water activities.
